In 2014, Denver Water, the Suburban Distributors of Denver Water, and the One World One Water Center at Metro State University of Denver came together to host the first Denver Metro Water Festival. The water festival is designed to provide balanced water-related education to sixth graders in Denver Water’s extended service area (link to service area map). Who We Are |
2020 DMWF Advisory BoardThe Denver Metro Water Festival (DMWF) is guided by the DMWF Advisory Board. At least two representatives from each of the host organizations hold seats on the board. The host organizations also generously support the DMWF with in-kind support for marketing, graphic design, printing, IT support and many other functions that make the festival a success.

2020 DMWF Coordination TeamThe Festival is coordinated by the DMWF Coordination Team. The Team manages the tasks necessary to organize the event each year, including recruiting volunteers, securing space for presentations, outreach to schools, and securing presenters. DMWF Coordination Team members are also members of the advisory board.
